Source One is a global sourcing and supply chain management company that helps businesses identify reliable manufacturers and manage procurement across Asia. Their services include supplier sourcing, quality control, and end-to-end supply chain support for international buyers.

Phoenix Media partnered with Source One to strengthen their international search visibility and improve their website so it could better support lead generation from companies researching sourcing partners in Asia.

The Challenge

Source One wanted to improve their rankings internationally, particularly within Western markets such as the United States where many companies search online for sourcing partners in Asia. However, this meant competing with a large number of established companies already targeting similar keywords.

In addition, parts of the website were not structured efficiently, which limited how effectively the site could convert visitors into enquiries.

The Approach

Phoenix Media began with a full audit of the website to identify technical and structural improvements that could strengthen the site's search performance.

We implemented a structured SEO strategy focused on sourcing and procurement-related search terms, while also improving technical performance to ensure the website met Google's Core Web Vitals standards. Content across the site was also refined so the information was clear, transparent, and well structured for both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven search platforms.

The Results

Following the SEO improvements, Source One achieved page one rankings for over 70% of their target keywords, with particularly strong improvements in search visibility in the United States.

Alongside the SEO results, we also improved the structure of the website to better support conversions. The report sample page was redesigned so downloadable reports could be used more effectively as a lead generation tool, helping turn website visitors into qualified enquiries.
