DD Property is Thailand's largest online property portal, hosting millions of listings and user-created pages for buyers, sellers and renters across the country.
Facing increasing competition online and a recent drop in search rankings, the team engaged Phoenix Media to carry out a full SEO audit and provide a clear set of recommendations for recovery.
With more than five million pages on the site, a page-by-page review was never going to be practical. The audit needed a structure that focused effort where it would move rankings most.
A large share of the site's pages are created by users rather than editors, which adds duplication, thin content and crawl-budget challenges that a smaller website never faces.
Because of the site's scale, we broke the page types down in order of importance and rankings, so the highest-value templates were reviewed first.
We then divided the work across our specialist teams, covering keyword opportunities, technical SEO, link analysis, content analysis and UX, before consolidating everything into a prioritised set of recommendations.
The numbers
In the three months after the recommendations were implemented, organic traffic increased by 60% compared with the previous period.
Measured against the same period the year before, organic traffic was up 85%, restoring the portal's visibility in a highly competitive market.
